YUE Spring/Summer 2020
The inspiration of this collection, YUE which means moon in Chinese, comes from the mooncakes which
is a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival. This collection has three ready-to-wear and three Traditional Chinese costume design which ideas from mooncake, Chinese calligraphy and character, lotus flower, lantern, and the folk story. The concept of the design is to create feminine and elegance looks with modern and traditional style in beautiful detailing and techniques including string applique, su embroidery, embellishment and prints with gradient color on soft fabrics like chiffon and satin silk to create a soft and flowy look. It targets to ladies who are Chinese Traditional Culture lovers, actresses and stage performers.
